I simply wanted to let you know that I’m thinking of you this Holiday season and I’m sending you the very best. I’m overcome with how blessed I am to have such amazing people in my life, and I count you as one of those people. Thank you for being a part of my community.

So Happy Holidays from my heart to yours.

I know the holidays can be a “charged” time for a lot of people, so I have a few quick tips to share with you.

1. Find Some Solitude: If you have a lot of people in your house (I do!), make sure you find some peace and quiet. This can be a huge challenge, but simply escaping to your room for a few, quiet minutes can be helpful. I find the bath to be the perfect escape; people tend to leave you alone when you’re in the bath. 🙂

2. Let Yourself Feel It: If you’re feeling alone this year, or have experienced a loss, this can be a very challenging time of year. Be gentle with yourself and allow your feelings to come. If you can, try to reach out and let someone know how you feel. Sometimes we can isolate ourselves when there are people who would really love to hear from us. Often, the feeling of “alone” is self-imposed.

3. Count Your Blessings: This is such a great time of year to look at all areas of your life and realize how blessed you truly are. We tend to overlook the abundance that surrounds all of us: simply waking up in the morning is a blessing. So how many blessings do you have in your life? How abundant are you? Abundance is about more than just wealth. It’s about health, friends, family, having a place to live, having food on the table, clothes on our backs, bodies that carry us through our day, a sun that shines down on us, and breath that fills our bodies.
